Colour presets.
NOVA ships with three curated colour presets. Each preset sets all four colour schemes (Base, Secondary, Inverse, Accent) so your entire store updates with one click. Select a preset in Theme settings > Colours, then fine-tune individual tokens as needed.
Editorial
Warm, refined, editorialBest for: Fashion, lifestyle, premium DTC brands
Natural
Organic, earthy, artisanalBest for: Sustainable brands, homeware, food & drink, natural products
Dark
Dramatic, luxurious, high-contrastBest for: Luxury goods, jewellery, watches, premium spirits
Custom colours
You can modify any colour token after selecting a preset. All tokens are under Theme settings > Colours in the theme editor. Each section also has a color_scheme dropdown to switch between Base, Secondary, Inverse, and Accent schemes — letting you alternate backgrounds and create visual rhythm within a single page.
Switching presets
Changing presets resets all colour tokens to the preset's defaults. If you've customised individual colours, note them before switching. Typography, spacing, and shape settings are independent of presets and are preserved when you switch.
